Romans 3: Salvation is Grace, Faith and Christ! Paul warns us about churches that teach otherwise
This is again another introductrinary (I know... not a word) sermon on Romans... and, it is a Special Father’s Day lecture (if you believe that, you must be new. This guy never does anything but teach and try to be funny).
The Book of Romans is primarily Paul giving proofs, and about Salvation by Grace alone through faith/belief alone, in the name of Jesus Christ alone. Paul is arguing this everywhere he goes. Paul is the most premier theologian that has ever lived. Paul strongly tells us not to go to a church that doesn’t teach Salvation like he does, or to even go around people that don’t believe as he teaches. As an aside... Paul was taught for three straight years by God Himself, Jesus Christ... so you might want to listen to him. For the Internet audience, here are some scriptures to write down: Galatians 1:6-10, Romans 4:4, Romans 11:5-8 and Romans 16:17-18. Those verses pound in Grace Alone, Christ Alone, Belief Alone. You’ll want to hear what our pastor has to say about this. It’s pretty strong, but this is the Special Father’s Day, warn and fuzzy part of the lecture.
Along with that, the Book of Romans contains the “without excuse” clause, Romans 1:18-23 that says because of the created things those who do not believe God exists will judged and found without excuse. And those who require a special sign to believe, are left in the dust. Sorry... not really. Fake sorry. Pastor Chronister talks about an arrogant man named George Washington Carver, brilliant man, who wanted a sign. God gave him a peanut...
