Joel 210: The Mystery! How Does God Die? The Passability vs. the Impassability of God
We start with a letter from Dr. Dan from LA. Some are saying Paul is the Antichrist. And pastor Chronister brings up the connection of the Old Testament and Paul’s writings. There’s Genesis 15, and pastor goes into what that’s all about.
We get a good discussion on current events right up front. That’s well worth listening to.
But we’re back into the great sorrow of God. There are churches out there that think Christ is a sinful being. God is brokenhearted and weeps for the lost, and that shows itself at the cup in Gethsemane. And we get into The Doctrine of Devine Impassability. The ongoing debate today about free will and the Passability vs. the Impassability of God and therefore Christ. Jesus Christ is impeccable, and He is also the suffering servant. He weeps. He greaves. And He has great compassion. These are undeniable truths. The Bible indicates balance. This is where the Calvinists go off the rails. And do the Animals get resurrected first? The dead in Christ will rise first. They have always been in Christ.
The thought prosses of the Elohim is on display at Gethsemane. And the Omniscience of God does not conflict with the free will of mankind, animal kind, and the Angelic realm. Ask, Why is it true that God is Sovereign and Omniscience, and there’s free will imbedded in His created? We’re talking about Mysteries and Paradoxes.
We get into the 7,000-year prophecy. God is outside of time and He controls time. He’s in control of motion, the fundamental property of the Quantum level. One year is One day with God. “New” means, “made to be eternal” to God. Our pastor spends a considerable amount of time in this discussion. The Mystery is, How does God die?
